In 2007, Queensland Theatre Company launched an exciting new philanthropy program to encourage our loyal supporters to “Put your money where our art is”.

At Queensland Theatre Company we believe that a truly vibrant, creative community needs a theatre company to do more than just produce great plays. It needs programs to stimulate a love of theatre in young people, including those who live in the far-flung corners of the state. It needs resources to support emerging writers, actors and theatre workers. And it needs the financial backing to occasionally take a bold artistic risk.

Our Philanthropy Program aims to raise much needed funds to continue producing great work and also to increase awareness of what can be achieved at Queensland Theatre Company with your additional financial assistance. Our philanthropy brochure contains information about how to make a tax-deductible donation, including a portfolio of possible projects to show you how various levels of giving can contribute – from assisting in regional projects and fostering emerging artists to commissioning plays and supporting national tours.
