Let Queensland Theatre Company coordinate theatre artist residencies at your school. Whether you are looking for a two-hour workshop or a long-term residency, we can help.

Short-term residencies can include workshops in:

  • acting and performance styles
  • playwriting
  • physical Theatre
  • clowning
  • puppetry
  • fight choreography
  • voice
  • Shakespeare

Long-term residencies can include:

  • a director to oversee a school production
  • a playwright to develop a new script with students
  • group devised or physical performance projects
  • term-long weekly visits for a specific skill area


Regional Schools

Subsidised travel costs are available for artists attending regional schools to help ensure equality across the state.
