Work Experience

Drama students in Years 11 – 12 may apply to complete one week of work experience at Queensland Theatre Company.

Some of the activities during work experience include:

• observing actors in rehearsal
• learning about administration
• assisting departments including marketing, wardrobe and youth & education
• meeting lots of industry professionals

Secondments

University Secondments are offered in Stage Management, Research, Project Coordination and Marketing. Students are selected by universities based on their outstanding work in the final or honours year of their course. For information on the Secondment programs tertiary educators from any Queensland University may contact our Youth & Education Manager, Joseph Mitchell.
