Work Experience

Up to 12 work experience placements are available at Queensland Theatre Company during the year.

Some of the activities during work experience include:

• Observing rehearsals
• Attending production meetings
• Discussions with actors, directors and production staff
• Assisting departments such as Wardrobe, Marketing and Education

Student Advisory Panel

Would you like to spend a year with Queensland Theatre Company?

In 2010 we are inviting 20 students from across Queensland to participate in a Student Advisory Panel which will give you exclusive behind the scenes access to a range of Company activities. Selected panel members will meet regularly and provide feedback and advice on a range of productions and programs which the Company presents for young people.

As a member of the Student Advisory panel, you will receive:

• Complimentary tickets to Company productions
• Regular meetings with Company staff and Industry representatives
• Exclusive workshop classes with Company actors and directors
• Invitations to special industry events

Applications Close on Friday 12 March

Students can apply for both the Student Advisory Panel and Work Experience in the same letter, as long as it is clearly indicated the letter is for both opportunities.
