Overview
Thom Pain has an itch to scratch, and with your help he might just find it.
But first, he needs to share a few things with you, like the time his girlfriend woke up one morning and decided … oh, but he’ll get back to you about that one …
With nothing but a sharp suit and some even sharper stories, Thom is an everyman trying to make sense of the world, and his place in it.
Will Eno’s underground hit (Edinburgh, London, New York) has been described as ‘stand up existentialism’, and it gurgles with the grim humour and pain of life.

Patrons booked in to see Thom Pain (based on nothing) can check out a free satire reading following the show at 8:50pm in the foyer. Participants from the 2009 Taking Aim satire writing master classes, now working together as writers' collective The Tunnel, showcase their skills and answer the question "Who is Tony Abbott and where does he get those Speedos?" in this hilarious performance of Uncle Tony's Oats starring some of Brisbane's funniest actors!

An opportunity after a performance to hear the cast discuss the play and to ask questions.
U30 Studio Nite: Thursday April 8
If you’re under 30, this night at the theatre is for you. Take in the show, stay for the post-show Q and A session with the actors and creative team, and then hang out with them at the Studio bar (with a DJ playing) afterwards.
